Parts Needed For Towing a Boat Trailer With 6-Pin Connector Behind 2019 BMW 540i

Question:

Ive got a boat/trailer with dry weight of 780 and package weight of 1705. Its got brakes and thusly a 6-pin round plug. Id like to install a hitch on my 2019 BMW 540i and would like to put in a 6-pin round wiring harness. I cant find that in your inventory. Got anything that would work for me?

First you will need the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH93VR for your 2019 BMW 540i. This will include a 4-way flat for your tail light functions.

If your boat/trailer has electric or electric over hydraulic brakes, you will be able to connect the 4-way to the Adapter # A10-6034VP. Combining this with the Wiring Kit # 5506 and Brake Controller # RED52VR will allow you to control the trailer brakes along with adding a charge line for the trailer.

If your boat/trailer uses surge hydraulic brakes, you will need the Adapter # A10-6034VP as well. Then you will likely only need an additional wire and tap to tie into the reverse light wire for an electric lockout for any surge actuator.
