Recommended Hitch for a 2018 Jeep Cherokee
Question:
Looking for a trailer hitch for my 2018 Jeep Cherokee. I don't have a Trailhawk but a few of the hitches say it fits them. Which one do I need?

The best hitch for your 2018 Jeep Cherokee is the etrailer Hitch item # e62TR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Jeep with included hardware. It does fit the Trailhawk but it also fits the standard models like yours. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 750 lbs tongue weight. This can be increased to 6,000 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.
I really like this hitch because the crosstube is completely concealed behind the rear bumper cover. This leaves only the 2" receiver visible, which not only looks better but also helps with ground clearance.
I have linked an installation video below.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56208 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
