As long as the Edge Juice programmer you are referring to is the Edge CTS part # EP31505, both of your trucks have 6.7 liter Cummins engines and you set your 2012 back to stock then yes, I can safely recommend that your programmer will adapt straight to your 2008 Dodge Ram 3500.
