Question:
I just recieved a 7 way number r7cb cr brophy trailer plug and I need to know if it will fit a Lance over the cab camper plug it looks like it is too big I do not have the camper here to check

Expert Reply:
The kind folks over at Lance in their infinite wisdom decided to equip their in-bed truck campers with 7-Way connectors that don't match anything else on the market so your CR Brophy Replacement 7-Pole, Trailer Connector Socket # R7CB won't work with the current connector on your Lance camper.
With that being said, we always recommend replacing the end of the Lance 7-Way connector with a standard connector like the Pollak # PK12706 so the camper is then compatible with the vast majority of 7-Way sockets on the market.
