According to Roadmaster the breaking point for the Quick Links # RM-910022 is 10,000lbs.

The mounting bracket is built into the aluminum scissor steps #AS02 so you would not need to purchase a separate bracket. It also includes the mounting hardware.

The Roadmaster Safety Cable Extensions #RM-910648-12 do include Quick Link connectors. The connectors alone are part #RM-910022 and these are rated for 6000-lbs. Other Quick Links like Curt #C82931 are rated lower, in this case 2640-lbs.
