Recommended Weight Distribution System for a 1,500 lbs Trailer
Question:
I have a 2015 Honda crv, and a trailer close to 1500 #, can you recommend a weight distribution hitch?

The best weight distribution system for your 1,500 lbs trailer is going to be the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control item # EQ37040ET. This system works with trailer's that have tongue weights below 450 lbs. Tongue weight is typically 10% - 15% of your trailer's total weight so the Equal-i-zer system will be perfect.
This weight distribution hitch has built in sway control that will keep your trailer in line with your CR-V when you are driving down the highway and get passed by a semi. It includes a 2" shank along with a 2" hitch ball.
I have linked a review video below so you can see how to get this system set up.
I recommend verifying that your vehicle's hitch is rated to be used with a weight distribution system. If it is not you will need to use one of our electronic options like the Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control item # 335TSC-1000.
