I am guessing by tow device you mean tow bar. If you are wanting to use a Roadmaster tow bar you will want to use a set of Roadmaster base plates so you don't have to mess with purchasing an adapter. The two companies don't like to work together and Roadmaster is the better option.

The Blue Ox base plate that fits your 2019 Chevy Equinox is the item # BX1730. You will need the Roadmaster Tow Bar to Blue Ox Brackets Adapter item # RM-031 to work with a Roadmaster Tow bar.

To flat tow your 2019 Chevy Equinox, I recommend using the following parts:

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar item # RM-520 and item # RM-643

Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM-523193-5

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM26FR if you have incandescent lights or Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM38FR for an Equinox with LED lights.

Charge Line - Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-156-25

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251 or item # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.
