Recommended Suspension Enhancement for a 2021 Ram 3500 SRW

Question:

I have a 2021 Ram 3500 SRW and tow a 34foot tow behind toy trailer that weighs 13k loaded. Ive gone the air bag route on previous trucks and want to go to something different. Looking at Timbren SES as an option, I see two part numbers used for my truck. I believe that TDR3500CA is correct but DR3500CA also pops up. Are they the same item with different part numbers or is DR3500CA not correct for my truck.

The Timbren item # TDR3500CA is the same as the DR3500CA and is confirmed to fit your 2021 Ram 3500. I would stay as far away from Timbren's as possible unless you're towing with a work truck. They will make for an extremely unpleasant and stiff ride when you are not towing your trailer. Your tongue weight won't be anywhere near their maximum capacity and you will feel them on every bump.

Instead I recommend the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs item # SSR-301-40-2. This system has a 3,000 lbs capacity and works based on the amount of weight you add to the rear end of your truck. The progressive load control compresses the springs according to the weight of your trailer or cargo. If you aren't towing or hauling a heavy load you will not know they are there.
