Rear Suspension Enhancement To Reduce Sag When 5TH Wheel Towing For a 2022 Ram 3500

Question:

I’m towing a 13000lb 5th Wheel. When I hook up to the truck I get about 3 inches of sag. My goal is to reduce the sag in the rear end. I’m considering the Sumo Springs SSR 312-54. Is that a good solution? I’ll be towing about 25% of the time.

Yes, the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-312-54 will help to reduce some of the sag you are getting on the rear of your 2022 Ram 3500 when you tow your 5th wheel. These will provide up to 2,800lbs of load support to reduce sag as well as help stabilize the rear of your truck in the turns.

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88231 will give you the benefit of being adjustable which will allow you to add enough air pressure to level the load while also not sacrificing any comfort when towing without the additional weight. This is not compatible if you have the Air Ride on your Ram. The Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ will allow you to control the air pressure from your smart phone using the Air Lift app. It also features a smart manifold that will maintain the air pressure last set to within 3psi while you are operating your Ram.
