To add a hitch to your 1966 Chevy C/10 you will want the Curt Trailer Hitch item # 13028. This hitch fits both the 6' and 8' beds with a standard bumper.
This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 6,000 lbs towing capacity that can be increased to 10,000 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.
I have linked the installation instructions below.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
