Thank you for the additional camera/monitor information. We do not carry the Welded brand of cameras and monitors and therefore I have limited information/knowledge available.
We do have a few camera systems that are wired and not wireless. The Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-7707721 is a colored camera/monitor and has a 7" monitor. This camera system does have a different pin configuration than your Welded camera so you would need to run the new wire or splice it into your current wiring.
Personally, because your current wiring is different and you are wanting a colored system I would run the new wire opposed to splicing into the old wire. This also ensures that all of your wiring will be in good working order.
A wireless system like the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless RV Backup Camera System # ASA57YR would be an easier swap, but I also understand your concerns with the picture skipping.
