Can the K-Source Heated Custom Towing Mirrors be used on a 2001 F-350 Without OEM Heated Function
Question:
01 F-350 superduty. I have the stock tow mirrors on my truck and am looking to put heated mirrors on. My mirrors are the round plugs, how does the heat work with the change over connection?

The mirrors that you referenced, the K-Source # KS61095-96F with the heated function are intended to replace OEM heated mirrors with a heated mirror face. If you currently have this option on your truck then these will work great for you.
However, if you do not have the heated function on your truck mirrors, these mirrors will fit with the round plug in style, but will not supply the heated function. If the truck was not wired to supply a heated function to the mirror, then the heated function on these mirrors will not work. Currently we do not have a wiring kit that will establish this function on your truck.
If you do not currently have a heated function for your mirrors on your 2001 Ford F-350 Super Duty you would want to use the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS61069-70F. These mirrors do not have the heating function, but will be a direct plug in application for your existing mirrors with the round style plug.
I have provided links to these parts for your reference.
