Troubleshooting Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System Running When Not Called For In Extreme Cold
Question:
I have a wirelessone 25870 compressor that I think is making a running noise every 8 minutes or so. Only noticed in extremely cold temp -10degF. It only lasts for about 3 or 4 sec.

It sounds like you may either have a small leak between the compressor and the manifold in the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System 25870 or the compressor is not holding pressure. As you mentioned this is only happening in the extreme cold it is possible the metal components are contracting just enough to allow for the air to escape in small amounts while you drive. When the compressor runs it warms back up those parts which is why it only does it off an on.
