Which Pin of Blue Ox 6-Way to 7-Way is for 12 Volt Charge Circuit
Question:
question-131443 is in direct contradiction to other Expert Replies about this cable BX88206. Please take this down, as it is very confusing to those of us seeking definitive connection info. It is showing the Brake Controller connect going to the center pin, which I believe your experts have already confirmed that +12V goes to the center pin on this cable. If this is not the case, I need to know that ASAP, as Im wiring a Towed Charger to this configuration. Thank you!

What is confusing and annoying about 6-way trailer wiring plugs is that there is two commonly used wiring diagrams used with only difference being that the brake output and 12 volt charge circuits are swapped. So on the 6-way side of the Blue Ox 7-Wire to 6-Wire Electrical Cord and Outlet # BX88206 the center pin of the 6-way is the 12 volt charge circuit. We have confirmed this with Blue Ox.
The question you mentioned has been taken down and was done by someone who no longer works here and probably was just guessing.
