Recommended Extended Ball Mount for Class III Hitches
Question:
I have a class 3 hitch. Is there a standard length for a drawbar from the pin hole to the ball? My rear door just kiss my propane tanks. If I had just a 1/2 longer bar it would solve the problem. I dont really want to use a hitch extender. Id just like a little longer bar.

It sounds like you need an extended ball mount like the Curt Class III item # C45270. This one is 13" long has a 2" rise and 4" drop. It has a 7,500 lbs weight capacity. I don't know how long your current ball mount is or if it has any drop but this one will definitely be longer than any standard ball mount and give you enough clearance to clear your propane tanks.
For a 2" hitch ball I recommend the Curt item # A-90.
