According to page 485 of the online version of the owners manual for the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited the steps necessary to prepare the vehicle for flat towing behind a motor home are as follows:
If equipped with an automatic transmission the vehicle should be in Park; if a manual transmission it should be in gear, not in neutral. The transfer case should be in neutral. The vehicle can be towed only in the forward direction. The Wrangler cannot be used with a tow dolly.
Also it is necessary to proceed through a series of several steps to ensure that the transfer case is fully in neutral before towing. This mandatory procedure must be followed precisely both before after towing; the steps are outlined in detail on pages 487-489 of the manual. Failure to observe these steps will result in either or both transmission and transfer case damage. Please refer to your owners manual for specifics.
For reference I have linked an article that covers much detail about the equipment required for safe and legal flat towing. Note that regulations may vary from state to state but generally flat towing requires a tow bar, base plates, safety cables, tow bar wiring and a supplemental braking system in the toad. Options for each of these components is reviewed in detail in the article.
