2017 Ford F-150 Towed Change 4 pole to 7
Question:
I have a 4 pole connector on the front of my truck for the break lights when towing it behind my RV. I want to change that to a 7 pole so I can put a battery maintainer wired in to the RV while we are pulling. So, do you have a plug and mounting bracket that I could mount to the front of my truck? Then I will also need a wire to connect between the two. I’m sure I can figure out the wire, but just can’t find the plug and bracket for what I’m trying to do.

I recommend using the Roadmaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit # RM-146-7, simply cut off your current 4-Way and rewire with the 6-Way to provide the charge line for your towed using the Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25. The Kit allows up to 15 amps from your RV's battery to be used to maintain the charge of your towed car's battery while the car is being towed. This Includes 14-guage wire, split wire loom, circuit breaker, and hardware. The kit is made in the USA.
