Troubleshooting Trailer Turn Signal Lights That Function At The Same Time
Question:
I installed new led tail lights on my pop up trailer .left right yellow green brown running lights ground. tested each side out but when i wishboned them together the both signal at the same time .Can you help.

Typically when your turn signal lights are going at the same time, that is an indication that there is a bad ground somewhere.
You'll want to make sure that your ground connections are connected to a clean, bare metal surface that is free of rust or corrosion.
IF that all looks good, I urge you to check over your wiring that you recently did as if you possibly mis-wired this harness that would also cause the same issue.
Finally, the last thing you can do is verify that the connector on the vehicle side is receiving the adequate power. You can use a circuit tester like # PTW2979 to test the power to the connector.
If there is power on both turn signals then the problem is going to be with the vehicle side wiring, if not the problem is going to be with the trailer.
