Recommended Sway Bars For a 2011 Tiffin Allegro RV Motorhome On a Ford F-53 22,000LB Chassis
Question:
I have 2011 Tiffin Allegro f53 chassis 22,000 with V10. Has Sumo springs and Koni shocks and Safe T Steer 35.000 miles. Rear sway bar measured about 1.41 thickness. Front is same. When I look at your roadmaster rear it says is 1-3/4 thick which is bigger than my 1-3/8. Please recommend best sway bars for front and rear. Thank you

I recommend the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-148 for the front of your 2011 Tiffin Allegro on the Ford F-53 22,000lb chassis. This will replace your current way bar with a thicker and stronger 1-3/4" sway bar and uses polyurethane bushings versus rubber.
For the rear the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM25VR will add a 2nd sway bar to the rear of your chassis. This bar is also 1-3/4" in diameter like the front with polyurethane bushings. You will need to measure the the amount of exposed threads on your factory U-bolts to determine if you will need longer U-bolts. You will need at least 1/2" of additional threads to fit the additional plate for the sway bar. The longer Square # RM-590050-00 or Round # RM-590050-10 U-Bolt kit will be needed if you do not have the additional 1/2" of threads or you see excessive corrosion on the factory U-bolts.
