Do Both Sides of TruTrack Weight Distribution Head Need to be Greased
Question:
The Curt 17501 has a grease fitting on only one side and a hole on the other side. Does only one side get grease? Or do I move the fitting and grease both sides? The manual only refers to one side, but it looks like both should be lubed.

The head unit on the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # C17501 should have a grease zerk fitting on both of the trunnion bar attachments as you can see in the attached photo. The instructions just show one side to save space in the instructions.
Since the one you have is missing one of the fittings you'll either need to replace it on your end with part # Gzerk (which I confirmed matches with my contact at Curt) or pursue the warranty of the item if it still applies to you.
