Tow Bar to Use with Blue Ox Base Plate Kit that Fits 2021 Ford Bronco
Question:
I have a 2021 Ford Bronco on which I installed Blue Ox baseplates purchased from etrailer. I would like to purchase the Blue Ox Acclaim BX 4330. The Acclaim info says spacing to 30, my plates measure 30 1/2inch C to C. A couple questions: 1. Can the Acclaim be fudged to 30 1/2? 2. If not, is the 30inch limit only relevant to the self stow feature? As I can work around this. My requirements for a bar are Ball Mount, Non Binding and 5000 lb. minimum.

I know it doesn't seem like it's much but we can't recommend using the Blue Ox Acclaim part # BX4330 with your base plate # BLU97XR as the spacing is 1/2 inch too wide. I know you said you wanted a coupler style tow bar but the hitch mounted Bluex Avail part # BX7420 is going to be your best option. If the reason you wanted a coupler style is because you have a ball mount that would hold the tow bar at the correct height the alternative to that would be a high low adapter which does basically the same thing.
For example we have the # BX88132 for 10 inch.
