Trailer Hitch Receiver Compatible With Spare Tire for 2022 Honda Pilot
Question:
Which hitch is compatible with a spare tire on my 2022 Honda Pilot? I need to add one to tow this trailer I just bought.

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98840 will work with your spare tire as long as it is not larger than 18". This is the case for all aftermarket hitches. If your tire is larger than 18" your only choice would be to relocate the spare or get a smaller spare tire if you wanted to have it with you.
Since you will be towing, you also need wiring to power your trailer's signal lights. For the most reliable option, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring harness # 118760. If you need a 7-way instead of a 4-way, you can use the # 118286.
In order to complete your setup you will also need a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
