Does the Circuit Breaker In the Battery Charge Line Kit Need to be Mounted to a Metal Surface?
Question:
Does the circuit breaker for the RM-156-25 Battery Charge Line Kit have to be hooked up to a place that is metal ? I’ve watched your video of installation on a 2021 Jeep Wrangler which I have and mine doesn’t have the metal bracket as the video shows. Can it be mounted on plastic ? Thanks

The Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles item # RM-156-25 circuit breaker does not need to be mounted to a metal surface. The installation instructions state to:
Find a suitable mounting location for the included circuit breaker; it must be mounted on a flat surface, within approximately 6" of the vehicle’s battery (the closer the better), at a point where it will not interfere with the operation of any components.
So no worries whatsoever about mounting it to a plastic surface.
