Does the Roadmaster Charge Line Kit Work with Different Battery Types and What is Included

Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles Item # RM-156-25 Is this just a circuit breaker and wire as it says? What happens if the CB trips? Does it need to be replaced? Is there any sort of diode providing reverse current back to the Motor Home? I have a 2018 Chevy Equinox Premier toad with ASG battery. I need a charging system for that battery.

The Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 is compatible with AGM batteries like the one in your 2018 Chevy Equinox Premier. This is a circuit breaker and wire; no diode is included and it's generally not needed. The circuit breaker is there to help isolate the circuit from issues but it won't by itself prevent back-feeding. This isn't typically a concern with this kind of setup but if you wanted extra peace of mind you would just need to add a single diode like # RM-690 to prevent this from happening.
If the circuit breaker trips, you'll want to inspect it for damage, but in most cases it won't need to be replaced.
