What Size Roof Hole Does Ventline Vanair Roof Vent VP-543SP Fit

Question:

i have a Ram Promaster hightop that I had a wood stove in but never used it, so I took it out nd covered the hole. I was thinking of putting a roof vent in its place. I saw this item and wondered if it could be made to fit into a 7 hole that I already have? If not is there one you recommend or should i just cut in a n 11 square and just do it that way? thx Ventline/Dex VP543 6 12V Powered Round Vent

The Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # VP-543SP that you referenced requires a 6-1/4 inch diameter hole to install. Since you have a larger diameter hole currently what you could do is get maybe a piece of sheet metal that is larger than your opening and cut the smaller 6-1/4 inch hole in it for this to attach to.

Or if you don't mind opening the hole even larger you could cut a 14-1/4 inch by 14-1/4 inch hole and install a roof vent like the part # V2092SP-28 which is a standard RV trailer roof vent.
