Does The Rhino-Rack Ski and Fishing Rod Carrier Need To Be Locked To Stay Closed?
Question:
I plan to drive at very low speeds, but when you shut the top part and it latches does it need to be locked as well?

No, you do not need to lock the Rhino-Rack Ski and Fishing Rod Carrier # RR572 to stay closed.
The locking mechanism on this carrier is purely for security.
I have attached a review video for you to check out as well if you haven't already.
