Snow Tire Chains Placement On 2011 Porsche Cayenne
Question:
Should tire chains be used on the back or front tires on a 2011 Porsche Cayenne?

I researched your 2011 Porsche Cayenne online, and the manual states that for four wheel drive vehicles, you can use two sets of snow chains, but if only one set is used they are normally installed on the rear tires. If you are installing tire chains on a two wheel vehicle, they are installed on the drive axle. Since there are several different options for tire and wheel sizes for your Cayenne, you will need to select snow tire chains based on the size tires you have installed. You will want to consult your owner manual to see if there are any restrictions or clearance considerations when using snow tire chains.
The manual also mentions spacers that are used on the axles to provide a wider trac. If there are spacers on the axles, the manual states they should be removed prior to installing snow chains.
I have linked you to our product page where you can select your tire size from the menu and then select the tire chains that work for you. I have also attached links to a couple of articles for snow tire chains that may help.
