Trailer Hitch, Wiring, and Ball Mount Recommendations for a 2010 Ford Ranger

Hitch and wiirng for my 2010 Rnager please and thank you.

Expert Reply:
The hitch I recommend for your 2010 Ford Ranger is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e29AR because it has a matte black finish that looks better and is more durable than the classic glossy black finish we see on the other trailer hitches for your truck.
Then for wiring I recommend the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM40655 because it tees in behind the tail lights so the installation will be much easier than a splice-in type wiring kit. You'll want to pick up brackets # 18144 and # C57202 to secure the wiring near the hitch receiver.
If you don't already have a ball mount I recommend checking out the BulletProof Hitches 2-Ball Mount # BPH64FR which offers a 4-1/4" Drop, 4-3/4" Rise as well as a 2" hitch ball rated for 10K and a 2-5/16" hitch ball rated for 14K.
