Which Pin of Roadmaster 7-Way to 6-Way Diode Tow Bar Wiring Kit is 12 Volt Power

Question:

Here is my bottom line question: How is the “Power” cable wired to the 7-way RV connector and 6-way Truck connector? Here is my configuration: I have a 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat and a 2004 Gulfstream. The truck needs the RM-15267 diode wiring harness and DM66VR Charge Line so that the truck battery keeps its charge. The RV needs a new 7-way connector since it has only a 6-way connector with only 4 wires attached. So I’ll need to run a new “Power” wire. In your installation videos for the DM66VR it says that the “Power” wire is connected to the CENTER pin of the 6-way connector on the truck. The instructions on wiring up a 7-way connector on the RV shows that the “Power” wire comes from the RV battery, through a 40amp breaker, to the top left blade of the 7-way connector. I want to make sure that Power will flow from the 7-way connector pin to the 6-way connector pin. Thanks.

The 6-way that is on the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 has it's center pin as the 12 volt power circuit. So when wiring up the 6-way female connector on your vehicle to charge it's battery you'd use the center pin for the # DM66VR and you'd be set.
