Recommended Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Adapter for a Flat Bed Truck

Question:

I have a flatbed truck with 2 inches from the top of the flatbed to the top of the gooseneck ball. Do yall have a option to put a fifth wheel hitch on the ball?

I have a couple of options for you but unless your flatbed truck is using a B&W Turnover ball system the only way to connect your trailer to your gooseneck hitch is to use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter item # CAB-C5G.

The Convert-A-Ball has a 20,000 lbs capacity and attaches directly to your 5th wheel trailer's kingpin. I have linked an installation video below.

Another option would be to change the pin box on your CrossRoads Sunset Trail Reserve to a gooseneck pin box. I would just need you to send me a picture of the sticker on your pin box to give you the best option.

Your recessed well is too short for the Demco Recon item # DM8550046 which requires a maximum distance of no more than 3/4" between the top of the ball and the top of your well.

The B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter item # BWRVK3050 attaches to the square receiver of the B&W Turnover Ball System only and will fit inside of your well so long as it is at least 1*' x 18" wide.
