Advisability of Backing Trailer While Using Weight Distribution
Question:
In reading the specs on many of the anti-sway systems back up a trailer with anti-sway systems can cause issues. Does the Steadi-Flex have any if these issues? What can I expect if installed on my trailer. I tow a 40 foot rowing shell trailer w a 7000 gwr Thanks in advance

Backing a trailer with the Reese Steadi-Flex weight distribution system, part # RP66559, connected is not expressly forbidden (or mentioned) in the instructions.
If you are not needing to make sharp turns while backing, removing the spring bars will not be necessary. However, if you will be turning sharply while backing I would recommend removing the bars the prevent any binding or anything being bent.
