Is the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack Better than the SE2 for Heavy E-Bikes w/ Fat Tires?
Question:
Item # HR1450Z. Item # HLY74FR What is the difference other than smaller hitch option? I was considering HR1450Z. What is the advantage of HLY74FR? I have 2 electric bikes. Both have 4 fat Tires. Rad Expand and Lectric XP Premium. I need the fat tire version.

There are a couple of major differences between the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Bike Rack item # HR1450Z and the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack item # HLY74FR, which makes the SE the far superior bike rack.
The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack item # HLY74FR does have the ability to mount in both a 2" and 1-1/4" receiver but it also has a higher capacity per bike. The SE2 can only handle up to 50 lbs per bike where the SE has a 80 lbs per bike capacity. Not only that but the SE2 wheel cradles can only accommodate tires up to 3" wide, the SE can hold fat tires up to 5".
The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes item # HLY74FR is what I would recommend for your Rad Expand and Lectric XP Premium e-bikes. This is a frame mounted bike rack so you won't have to worry about it damaging your fenders. The rack accepts bikes with up to a 60" wheelbase. The integrated locks will secure your bike and the rack itself from theft.
