Question:
I have a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4WD. I am preparing to purchase at camper with a dry weight of 8100 lbs and 30 ft long. Our longest travel distance is about 3 hours but do experience some hills in southern Illinois and Missouri. Which model do you recommend?

If you are looking for something that will take out the squat at the rear end of the truck when connected to a travel trailer then the best option is weight distribution. But if it is a 5th wheel trailer you will be towing then suspension enhancement would be the way to go.
The difference between Timbren systems # TDR1500DQ and # TDRTT1500 subtle. Basically, the one you will want is # TDR1500DQ rated for 6K. The other kit, # TDRTT1500, is designed for service vehicles only like utility trucks and emergency vehicles.
If you are interested in weight distribution then I would need to know the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded and ready to tow and adding to that the weight of any cargo loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. Once I have that information I can recommend a system if you are interested.
I have included some links on Timbren systems and weight distribution for you.
