No Green Light on Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller
Question:
We downloaded the app and proceeded to follow instructions. When we plug in the controller it turns blue , then goes to blinking blue...then back to solid blue. . The directions say the light should turn to yellow to calibrate then to green. it does not... it goes from solid blue to blinking blue and back to solid blue . The blue ring appears on the phone and says brakes being applied..... but the brakes dont appear to be working. If I push and hold the orange button to activate manually ,we get and overload notification. I guess my first question is why is controller not turning yellow to green . I assume it needs to be green which would confirm device pared and connected to trailer. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Our vehicle is a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. Thanks

The light on the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 must turn green before use as this indicates the unit is paired to a mobile device and ready. The blue light just means the controller has power and is ready to be paired. I have attached for you below the section in the owner's manual which explains why this is happening and how to fix it.
