Will Pop & Lock Conversion Kit Work on 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty with Recalled Tailgate
Question:
Hello I have a 2017 Ford F-250 crew cab diesel pickup with a canopy. I am looking at installing a pop and lock for the canopy. However, I have had the tailgate recall done by Ford. Do the recall modifications done by Ford affect how I would wire up the pop and lock? Thanks

Thanks for reaching out!
I'm glad you got the recall for the electric tailgate function for your 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty fixed. The Pop & Lock Power Lock Conversion Kit # PAL9772 will work just fine with the fix on your truck. This just ties into the wiring on your truck so as long as the tailgate is operating properly this will work as it should!
