Im looking at buying a Dexter # T43397007K trailer actuator and need to know what the inside width is to verify that it will fit on the tongue of my trailer, which is 2-3/4 wide. Thanks

The Dexter Surge Brake Trailer Coupler part # T43397007K that you referenced is designed to fit a 3 inch wide trailer tongue. Since yours is 2-3/4 inches wide you'd need to use 1/8 inch spacers on either side of the tongue.
