I would be happy to help you. Both the Curt item # C13417 and the etrailer item # e63ZR are confirmed to fit the 2023 Ford Ranger. These hitches are identical with the exception that the etrailer hitch has a matte black powder coat finish that offers superior rust protection.
The best hitch for your Ranger is going to be the etrailer Hitch item # e63ZR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Ranger with included hardware. They both have the same installation method and towing capacity but this one will look better when installed and save you some money.
I really like the etrailer hitch because it installs behind your rear bumper and the crossbar is completely hidden. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 6,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 900 lbs maximum tongue weight. That can be increased to 8,000 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.
I have linked a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what this hitch looks like when installed.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56431 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
