How to Determine if Yakima SkyBox 18 Cargo Box Fits 2014 Subaru Outback without Hatch Interference

Will the hatch on a 2014 subaru outback open completely and not touch the box, with a yakima skybox 18 installed?

To determine if there will be hatch interference with the Yakima SkyBox, # Y07336, and your 2014 Subaru Outback you will need to do a little measuring. Measure from the center of the front crossbar back to the seam between the top of the hatch and the roof.
If you get 57 inches or more then the box will fit without rear hatch interference. If you come up with a different number let me know what it is and I can determine which boxes will fit without hatch interference.
