Troubleshooting A Fogatti RV Water Heater That Won't Power On

I hooked the unit up and had 12volts coming into the unit. The remote won’t even turn on. No ignition or anything.

Expert Reply:
The Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB64FR has a small on/off switch next to the exhaust pipe that needs to be turned on prior to use. It also has a small fuse below the switch that you can check if flipping the switch doesn't get the unit to power on.
As long as you have the switch on and 12 volts running to it the remote should power on. From there the only issues you could possibly have would be the water pressure or gas pressure. Water pressure can be set to a safe limit with a regulator like # A01-1120VP.
If you're having issues with gas then you would want to check out your propane regulator and possibly replace it. If this is an issue for you then please send me a picture of your setup and I can find the correct replacement for you.
