Replacing Over the Range Microwave in Camper
Question:
I need to repair/replace the above oven microwave in my 1989 lance truck camper. I cannot get the old microwave out. it fits very tight so that on one side you can lift up a little to get the rubber foot over the edge but than on the other side, the box shape on top of the microwave prevents any lifting to get the other rubber foot over the frame. There is no evidence that the cabinet was taken apart for it to install. It does not seem possible to remove due to the very tight fix and I do not want to dismantle the cabinet for fear of being unable to repair.

The best advice I have for you in regards to removing the old over the range microwave would be to reference the installation portion of the owner's manual for your microwave so you can better see how it was designed to be installed. This should then help with removal but as the installation is up to the discretion of the installer at the manufacturer, I cannot advise on exact steps nor would any one really without seeing the trailer first hand.
For replacement, we have some great options such as the Furrion Over the Range RV Convection Microwave part # FMCM15SS which measures 29-15/16" wide x 16-3/8" tall x 15" deep. I have attached for you below an entire list of our over the range microwave selection as well if the above will not work.
