Comparing Curt and etrailer Trailer Hitch Receivers For a 2023 Subaru Outback
Question:
What is the difference between the Curt C67JR and Etrailer e25TR?

Expert Reply:
The only difference between the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C67JR and the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e25TR is the powder coat finish. We selected Curt to build our receiver hitches as they are a quality Made in the USA product we are comfortable putting our name on. The Curt will have a gloss black finish while the etrailer has a matte black finish. Both will fit your 2023 Subaru Outback.
I recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118467 when you install the receiver. This will make it easier to route the wiring out the floor of your Outback and secure to the receiver using a Mounting Bracket # C58001. Then you will not have to route the wiring through the rear door seal whenever you need to connect to a trailer or Auxiliary Lights # C53201.
