Expert Reply:
In order to add electric trailer brakes to a trailer with 3,500 Lb Axle all you need is braking assemblies (Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA), hubs/drums (Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K), and a wiring kit (Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit part # HS381-9000). Please note, the hubs and drums are sold individually so you'll need two per axle.
