Brake controller Wiring With Factory Tow Package On A 2018 Jeep JK Wrangler
Question:
I am getting mixed results when i search the internet on this subject with this vehicle. This does have a tow package but does not seem to have a plug under the dash. So my question is where do the brake wires go from the 7 pin trailer plug that is installed on the jeep? I realize that i can run wires but i dont want to if they already exist somewhere.

When it comes to installing any brake controller on your 2018 Jeep JK Wrangler with a factory tow package there will not be a plug that is located underneath the dash. There will be wires that you will have to splice into to activate your controller.
The Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller # C24VV and The Universal Wiring Adapter # C51515 is the controller that I recommend. The controller has 9 sensitivity settings that let you adjust your initial braking power and aggressiveness. It also has a triple-axis accelerometer that is highly responsive, ensuring smooth, uniform stopping action. The controller has a 90-degree vertical plane operating range.
