Is There a 7-Way to 6-Way Coiled Adapter With Both Ends Plastic
Question:
My 7 way to 6 way tow car electrical cord has a metal end on the 6 way going into a metal 6 way male receptacle. Do they make a coiled cord and towed vehicle receptacle that are both plastic to make connecting and disconnecting easier? The metal 6 way plug on the coiled cord is difficult to plug into the metal 6 way receptacle on the towed car.

There is indeed a 7-way to 6-way coiled wiring adapter with both ends being plastic. It does include a plug with the adapter, but since you have one already you can just keep it around as a spare. The correct part number is the following:
- Blue Ox 7-Wire to 6-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord # BX88206
The cord of the # BX88206 can expand up to 7 feet, and its ends being plastic will make it easier for you to plug into the connectors.
