Option to Replace 3,000 Axle With 4 Inch Drop

Question:

Trying to replace axle on 60s camper. Assume I need a 3000# weight. It mounts to leaf springs with a 4 to 5 inch drop. Springs measure 49 outside to outside. Outside to outside of hubs measure about 63. I need complete axle with electric brakes, rims and possibly tires. Thanks

We have an option but nothing in those measurements. The closest we have is the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System, which are simply bolted or welded so you do not have to worry about finding an axle that meets any specific measurements.

There isn't a 3,000 lb option but there is a 3,500 lb, and for that with a 4" drop, along with the hub and drum and electric brakes, you will need the following:

- Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4" Drop Spindle # TASR35HDS03

- Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K

- TruRyde Electric Trailer Brake Kit # TRU96FR

- Mounting Hardware # BRKH12

The hub has a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, so that's what you'll need for your rims as well, such as the Vesper Steel Modular Trailer Wheel # TA32FR or Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel # AM20539.
