The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12123 has mounting holes that are separated 38-1/2" from drivers to passenger side on center. The lower mounting hole sits 2-3/4" below the upper mounting hole and they are separated 7-3/4" on the same horizontal line. This receiver is custom fit for the 2014-2022(current model year) Ford Transit Connect. I have included a image below with the measurements as well.
Curt does recommend using either the 1-7/8" # C45571 or 2" # C45572 Euro Drawbar with this receiver. You can use a Pin and Clip # F-4 to hold it in place. Or you can secure it and your trailer using the Master Lock Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock and Coupler Lock Set # 3794DAT.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118613 will give you a 4-way flat connector that will allow you to tow most small trailers.
