Fitting Thule Hullavator on 2008 Porsche Cayenne with Malone Airflow2 Crossbars

Question:

I have a 58inch Malone Airflow2 Rack on my 2008 Cayenne. I use a Thule Compass which works fine when I have help. But, shoulder issues are making it tough when I dont. Could the cross-rails be slid to one side to accommodate a Hullavator Pro. Would I still be able to use the Compass in the J configuration on the other side to load a second? If not, can just the 65inch Malone cross rails be purchased? all kayaks are less than 23. PS- Would a Thule late model Subaru Forester rack work on my vehicle? Thanks so much for any insights!

The Thule Hullavator part # TH898 can attach to the top channels of the Malone Airflow2 roof rack part number # MPG216 that you have on the roof of your 2008 Porsche Cayenne. This is the longest crossbar rack that fits your vehicle so I would safely assume that the bars would have enough overhang for the Hullavator to fit and work well. You can slide the crossbar to one side of the feet if you wanted to as well. You would be able to position this and your Thule Compass # TH890000 on your bars at the same time.

I would need to know what specific Thule rack components you have to see if they could fit your Cayenne. If it was a raised rail roof rack though I would anticipate it fitting since those fits are more universal than others.
