Correct Replacement 23-3/4" Long 3-Leaf Spring for Trailer

Question:

Hi there. I am trying to match a leaf spring for a 2-place snowmobile trailer with a 2 round axle. My measurement for current leaf spring is 23-3/4 Center of eye to center of eye. 1-3/4 wide leaf. 3-leaf. It looks like the closest available length is either 23-1/2 or 24. Could you please advise which I should go with? Thank you

Expert Reply:

It's common for trailer leaf springs to stretch a bit as they age so the correct replacement for your trailer is the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles part # SP-113275. This leaf spring has three leaves that each measure 1-3/4" wide, just like your old so it will be a direct replacement for your trailer. Please note, it's recommended to replace the leaf springs in pairs.
