Replacement Fulton Jack for Rogue Boat Trailer for Saltwater

Question:

Please see the pictures. It doesn't appear to be fixable. I pulled it apart and found the jack screw heavily corroded. I guess that is the reason for the rust. I didn't know that you could take these apart and grease them. there is only one grease fitting at the top so nothing got to the screw. Lesson learned. Perhaps you can advise me on a new one. Its for a Rogue trailer for a 20 ft Alumaweld Striker. The boat weight is 1400 lbs but I do not know the trailer weight. I use it exclusively in salt water. best regards

Thank you for providing the pictures. Based on your description and the corrosion present I would definitely replace it. Another Fulton is going to be your best replacement option since they use the Z-Max zinc finish which gives it a 600 hour salt spray rating.

Since you have a bolt-on jack right now the Fulton Bolt-Thru Swivel Marine Jack # FXP15L would be the best option. This has a 1,500 lb lift capacity with a 12" lift. It also comes with a limited 5-year warranty.
