Replacement Tire and Wheel Recommendation for a 1966 Go-Tag-Along Trailer
Question:
We bought a 1966 14 foot Go-Tag-Along, it had mismatched tires. I cant find anything on line to say what the proper size would be, it has 215/75 15 car tires on it. Any ideas

I can definitely help you get squared away with tires for your 1966 Go-Tag-Along but unfortunately I don't have a way to know what exact tire size that came on your trailer so we'll need to do some measurements to see what will work.
We recommend 2" of clearance from your tire sidewall to the trailer frame and then 4" from the top of your tire to the fender to account for the flex of your suspension. If your 215/75-15 tires have adequate clearance then I just need to know your wheel bolt pattern and I can make a replacement recommendation for you!
Typically on older trailers people like to use conventional wheels like the Dexstar # AM20504 with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern or the Dexstar # AM20514 with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern because you can use a Baby Moon Hubcap like part # AM90086 for that classic, old-school look.
Let me know what your bolt pattern is and what kind of clearance you have and I can make a recommendation for you!
